Director of Technical Assistance
He is a Global Health physician with 14 years of work experience and 9 years of leadership and management experience; he is currently working for Muso as the Director of technical Assistance and serves as a member of the senior leadership since 2019.Â
In his current role at Muso, Christian is overseeing Muso’s support to the governments of Ivory Coast and Mali as well as partner organizations in Morocco, Senegal and Sudan in the design, planning, financing and implementation of high impact primary health care interventions from the community to health facility level to reach people in need of care on time and eliminate delays that is causing unnecessary morbidity and mortality especially among women and children as well as populations in protracted situations such as conflict and other emergencies.Â
At Partners In Health he was responsible for providing support and guidance in the area of district health system strengthening for Non Communicable diseases including mental health building on the Rwandan Ministry of Health Sector Strategic Plan in order to transform PIH supported districts into leading service delivery and training hubs in healthcare delivery and systems improvement.Â
Christian serves as a board member of Foundation for Healthier Senegal and as an advisor of the Supply Chain Health Consortium; in the past Christian served as an adjunct faculty at the University of Global Health Equity. Chrisitan earned his MD from the National University Rwanda; he holds a Diploma in Tropical Medicine from the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, a Diploma in Clinical Research from the University of Liverpool.
